Trees

Trees trees trees,
(away the pruning men),
grow beyond the arm
or ladder's reach,
beyond hydraulics
of machine,
in upper boughs
bloom wild, 
untempered by the gardener,
untampered by the plan,
closer
branch by leaf
leaf by branch
to kindred disarray
of moist and cloudy god.
